Stewart-Lakewood Branch Library

Library Entrance

The Stewart-Lakewood Branch Library has served the Sylvan Hills and surrounding communities since its construction in 1959. Branch manager, Scott Parham, and a staff of enthusiastic librarians, maintain an inventory of books, periodicals, and DVDs, as well as computer workstations for free internet access and youth literacy programs. The library also hosts summer reading programs for local students and provides meeting space for many local groups, including NPU-X.

Contact the library at 404-762-4054 or visit their website for information on the branch’s hours of operation and other available services.

The Friends of the Stewart-Lakewood Library (FOSLL) is a volunteer 501(c)3 organization committed to preserving and strengthening library services through fundraising, programming and advocacy on the library’s behalf. FOSLL has sponsored used book sales, community health fairs, youth educational seminars, and author showcases. FOSLL meets in the library’s community room on the second Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. Contact the group at [email protected] for more information or inquire at the library.
