Our Neighborhood Association
The Sylvan Hills Neighborhood Association (SHNA) is the neighborhood’s collective community voice established to create a sense of unity and effect positive change through community-based projects.
What We Do

Come Join Us!
|
SHNA has been proud of its efforts to build and enhance the community. We co-host Popsicles in the Park, (an event giving away free popsicles to the community), Boo Ball (Fall Kickball and family fun) as well as a holiday potluck with Capitol View and Capitol View Manor.
The neighborhood association has led efforts to rid the community of tires and other refuse illegally dumped on our streets and been vigilant and vocal activists for public and environmental safety. SHNA leadership and resident members have been committed to the growth and health of this community and welcome more like-minded residents who hold similar values. Read our Neighborhood Association by-laws online. |
If you’d like to know more about the Sylvan Hills Neighborhood Association, please join us at our monthly meetings! Meetings are held on the 4th Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. except November and December at:
In-person location currently TBD
You can also stay connected to what is happening with your neighbors in Sylvan Hills, by joining our Google Email Group, Facebook Page, or NextDoor. Please review the Email Group Rules before posting. Neighborhood residents are asked to pay voluntary annual dues of $20 per household to cover administrative expenses and to support SHNA-sponsored projects.
